PETA means People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. It is the largest animal rights organization in the world by 6.5 million members and supporters.

Just before ‘Mothering Day’ on the 12th of March 2021 a pregnant member of the organization kept a small demonstration on the Millennium Bridge.

They decline all kinds of dairy products. The reason is because of constant insemination of the cow what will break her body and kill her on the end. (An average lifetime of a milking cow between 4-7 years but it reported she can live up to for 20 years.) Meantime the farmers separate the calves from their mothers from the very first moment after they just born. After the bull calves are separated from their mothers are being taken to the slaughter houses and the female calves are going to live in a cage for rest of their life.
